Pitching
Over the past few years, Discovery Music Group has built a large network of connections and relationships to help artists quickly and easily reach the ears of the playlist curators. We work with hundreds of curators to ensure your music is heard and placed into active Spotify playlists.
After selecting your Playlist Pitching package, your music will enter the review process where we determine how to effectively fulfill your campaign. We’ll analyze your music and then pitch it to genre-specific playlists. We aim for complete transparency with every client. Throughout the pitching process, you will receive updates on how your order is progressing.
On average, orders are completed within 1-week. When your music has been placed into enough playlists, reaching the follower guarantee on your package, we’ll email you the list of playlists you’ve been added into.

What Happens After Purchase?
After you purchase a Playlist Pitching package, you will receive an email confirming your order is processing. During this time, we will also be reviewing your music to determine how to effectively fulfill your campaign. Within 12-24 hours, your music will start being pitched to Spotify curators and playlists.
Throughout the Playlist Pitching process, you’ll receive multiple email updates on your order, including the playlists your song has been added into.

What genres do you accept?
All music genres are accepted.
Do you accept unreleased music?
We accept both released and unreleased music. If submitting unreleased music, include a listen link (e.g Dropbox) in the ‘Spotify Song Link’ section and the release date in the ‘Additional Notes’ section during checkout.
What are the terms & conditions?
By using Discovery Music Group’s Playlist Pitching service, I understand I am; not using a pay-to-play service, not guaranteed placements in any particular Spotify playlists, only paying for the time it takes for my music to be reviewed and pitched to curators, fully responsible for the music I am submitting, only eligible for a refund if the minimum playlist follower guarantee has not been met within 4-weeks of purchase.
What playlists do you pitch to?
We work with hundreds of playlist curators to ensure your music is heard and placed into active genre-specific Spotify playlists. We do not pitch to Spotify editorial playlists, only user curated.
How many streams can I expect?
It is impossible for us to guarantee the number of streams any song will receive in the playlists. We make sure to pitch your music to active genre-specific playlists so that it connects well with the listeners.
Will I receive an invoice with my order?
After purchasing a package, email your order ID to [email protected] and we’ll send you an invoice. The order ID can be found on your email receipt.
What payment methods are accepted?
We accept PayPal, Debit/Credit Card, Apple Pay, Google Pay.
How long will my music be featured in the playlists?
The duration of a song placement is between 3-6 weeks. For example, if your song is placed into two playlists, one playlist could feature your song for 3-weeks and the other playlist for 6-weeks.
What position will my music be in the playlists?
Most songs start in the Top 10 position and slowly work their way down, as more songs are added into the playlists. We aim to keep your song in a Top 10 position as long as possible.
